Exceptional Talent Visa
If you are a non-EEA national who is internationally recognised as a world leader in your field or as having the potential to become a world leader, you may be eligible for an exceptional talent visa.
You will need an endorsement from an appropriate body, which are:
- The Royal Society;
- The Royal Academy of Engineering;
- The British Academy;
- The Arts Council;
- Tech City UK.
As an Exceptional Talent visa holder, you will have a full right to work in the UK. This can be for an employer, as a director of a company or as a self-employed person.
You will be entitled to bring your partner and any children under the age of 18 to accompany or join you as your dependents.
After three years as an exceptional talent or 5 years as a promising talent, you will be eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain.
